Stanabol general information

Stanabol (Stanozolol) is a man-made steroid, similar to the a naturally occurring steroid testosterone.

Stanabol is used in the treatment of hereditary angioedema, which causes episodes of swelling of the face, extremities, genitals, bowel wall, and throat. Stanabol may decrease the frequency and severity of these attacks.

Stanabol may also be used for purposes other than those listed here.

Stanabol dosage and administration

Take Stanabol exactly as directed by your doctor. If you do not understand these instructions, ask your doctor, nurse, or pharmacist to explain them to you.

Take Stanabol with a full glass of water. Stanabol can be taken with or without food. It is important to take Stanabol regularly to get the most benefit.

Your doctor may want you to have blood tests or other medical evaluations during treatment with Stanabol to monitor progress and side effects.

Store Stanabol at room temperature away from moisture, heat, and direct light.

Stanabol miss a dose?

Take the missed dose as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for the next dose, skip the dose you missed, and take only the next regularly scheduled dose. Do not take a double dose of this medication.

Stanabol overdose?

An overdose of this medication is unlikely to threaten life. Contact an emergency room or poison control center for advice if an overdose is suspected.

Symptoms of an Stanabol overdose are not known.

Stanabol side effects

In rare cases, serious and even fatal cases of liver problems have developed during treatment with Stanabol. Contact your doctor immediately if you experience abdominal pain, light colored stools, dark colored urine, unusual fatigue, nausea or vomiting, or yellowing of the skin or eyes. These may be early signs of liver problems.

If you experience any of the following serious side effects, contact your doctor immediately or seek emergency medical attention:

• an allergic reaction (difficulty breathing; closing of the throat; swelling of the lips, tongue, or face; or hives);
• swelling of the arms or legs (especially ankles);
• frequent or persistent erections, or breast tenderness or enlargement (male patients); or
• voice changes (hoarseness, deepening), hair loss, facial hair growth, clitoral enlargement, or menstrual irregularities (female patients).

Other less serious side effects may also occur. Talk to your doctor if you experience

• new or worsening acne;
• difficulty sleeping;
• headache; or
• changes in sexual desire.

Side effects other than those listed here may also occur. Talk to your doctor about any side effect that seems unusual or that is especially bothersome.
