Durobolic general information
Durobolic Injection (Durabolin; generic name Nandrolone Phenylpropionate) from Asia Pharma is chemically related to the male hormone. Compared to testosterone, it has an enhanced anabolic and a reduced androgenic activity. This has been demonstrated in animal bioassays and explained by receptor binding studies. The low androgenicity of nandrolone is confirmed in clinical use. In the human, nandrolone has been shown to positively influence calcium metabolism, to increase red blood cell production and bone density and to increase bone mass in osteoporosis. In women with disseminated mammary carcinoma, Nandrolone has been reported to produce objective regressions for many months.
Clinical studies have shown Durobolic Injection (Durabolin; generic name Nandrolone Phenylpropionate) from Asia Pharma to be effective in treating anaemia, osteoporosis and some forms of neoplasia including breast cancer, and also acts as a progestin-based contraceptive.
Furthermore, Nandrolone has a nitrogen-saving action. This effect on protein metabolism has been established by metabolic studies and is utilised therapeutically in conditions where a protein deficiency exists such as during chronic debilitating diseases and after major surgery and severe trauma. In these conditions, Nandrolone Phenylpropionate serves as a supportive adjunct to specific therapies and dietary measures as well as parenteral nutrition, due to it's faster acting nature Nandrolone phenylpropionate is preffered in situations where a faster clinical response is required over it's chemical variant Nandrolone decaonate.
Durobolic dosage and administration
Take this medicine only as directed . Do not take more of it and do not take it more often than your doctor ordered. To do so may increase the chance of side effects.
In order for this medicine to work properly, it is important that you follow a diet high in proteins and calories . If you have any questions about this, check with your health care professional.
For treatment of certain breast cancers in women:- Adults—25 to 100 milligrams (mg) injected into a muscle once a week for up to twelve weeks. After a four-week rest period without receiving this medicine, your doctor may want you to repeat the cycle.
- Children—Dose must be determined by your doctor.
Durobolic side effects
Along with its needed effects, a medicine may cause some unwanted effects. Although not all of these side effects may occur, if they do occur they may need medical attention.
Check with your doctor immediately if any of the following side effects occur :
- Yellow eyes or skin
- Black, tarry, or light-colored stools; dark-colored urine; purple-or red-colored spots on body or inside the mouth or nose; sore throat and/or fever; vomiting of blood
Also, check with your doctor as soon as possible if any of the following side effects occur:
- Bone pain; nausea or vomiting; sore tongue; swelling of feet or lower legs; unusual bleeding; unusual weight gain
- Abdominal or stomach pain; feeling of discomfort (continuing); headache (continuing); hives; loss of appetite (continuing); unexplained weight loss; unpleasant breath odor (continuing)
